Bestiary
Venture beyond the familiar. This is where we document the unique and established creatures, monsters, and enigmatic beings of the Star Wars galaxy. An essential resource for every guild member, the Bestiary serves as both a guide for future role-play encounters and a proud log of the beasts we've conquered together.

Rancor: Apex Predator of The Galaxy
Appearance: Towering reptilian humanoids with thick, leathery hides, long arms, sharp claws, and formidable teeth. Their skin color varies but is often grey or green.
Location: Native to Dathomir, but found on many worlds, including Felucia and even Tatooine (often as pets or guardians).
Hostility: Extremely hostile. Apex predators that attack on sight.
Size: Typically 5 to 10 meters tall, though some subspecies like the Jungle Rancor can be smaller, and others, like the Dragon Rancor, much larger.
Sentience: Non-sentient, driven purely by instinct and hunger, though they can be tamed to a degree with immense effort.

Krayt Dragon: Desert Leviathan
Appearance: Colossal, serpentine desert creatures, often brown or sandy in color, with multiple legs, armored plates, and a massive maw. They possess a distinctive dorsal fin.
Location: Primarily found in the desert wastes of Tatooine, thriving beneath the scorching sands.
Hostility: Highly aggressive and territorial. They are known to attack anything that intrudes upon their domain.
Size: Varies greatly by subspecies; the Canyon Krayt is massive (up to 30 meters), while the Greater Krayt is truly enormous (over 100 meters).
Sentience: Non-sentient, driven by predatory instincts. They are feared for their destructive power and valuable pearls.

Grabworm: The Merciless Killer
Appearance: Worm-like body with a tough hide, its greyish blues intended as a camouflage.
Location: The swamps of Toydaria
Hostility: Aggressive predators with quick lunges and no mercy.
Size: Up to 4 meters long
Sentience: Non-sentient, behaving like predatory animals.
Canon: Yes
Note from Nova: "I know, its a worm right? A kriffin' tough one. Its hide is so tough even beskar struggles to pierce its hide. Though, getting swallowed and then blowing it up from the inside is quite effective. Gross, but effective."

Hyster: The Experimental Dashade
Appearance: A warped and distorted lump of flesh with white hair and makeup resembling a kids party clown. Yet his eyes glow a bright crimson showcasing the dark side that fuels his life. Razor sharp teeth spread into a forever smile, exposed past his lipless face.
Location: Korriban
Hostility: Extremely aggressive, appears to have lot all sanity in the experimentation process
Sentience: Formerly-Sentient, reduced to semi-sentient due to insanity.
Canon: Yes*

Xenomorph
Appearance: These otherworldly beings have an appearance that could make the most courageous man weep in fear.
Location: Unknown
Hostility: Shows patterns of both aggression and talented strategy, along with their natural stealth abilities these bringers of doom will kill first and ask questions never.
Size: These large semi-humanoids can reach heights of 2.5 meters, their weight of 600 pounds a testament to their dense muscle mass.
Sentience: Semi-Sentient*
Canon: No*

Mimic: The Island of Horror
Appearance: While dormant it looks like a normal island with a little hut and nice beach, however once you step foot on the shore you will be lucky to make it out alive. Watch as normal items morph and shift into hungry monsters.
Location: Tropical Regions
Hostility: Ambush hunter. It appears to have no desire to compete with its own kind, nor does it bother with things such as rust mites - which has made the island their home. It is the trap, and its been sprung.
Size: These can range from small islands to entire archipelagos, each one unique in its own way.
Sentience: Semi-Sentient
Canon: No*

J'Rakka: The Shadow Hunter
Appearance: Canine like creatures that can meld into the shadows themselves. These pitch black beasts are easily identified by their shadowy presence mixed with red sigils that cover their bodies.
Location: No specific location, found galaxy wide - if you're lucky (or unlucky) enough.
Hostility: Highly aggressive and territorial. They are known to attack anything that intrudes upon their domain, and holds grudges. If you fuck around with this creature - you will find out.
Size: Approximately the size of a Dire Wolf.
Sentience: Non-sentient, driven by predatory instincts and pack tactics.
Canon: No

Cryothar: The Pack Hunters
Appearance: A canine-like body crackling with electricity, jagged spikes lining the crest of their head and down their spine to the tip of their tail. These come in bluish Hues, yet each one has its own uniqueness and patterns
Location: Talan IV
Hostility: Aggressive pack hunters, but tamable if the tamer is skilled enough. Their high intelligence and problem solving abilities putting them as one of the Apex predators of Talan IV.
Size: Approximately the size of a wolf.
Sentience: Non-sentient, behaving like predatory animals.
Canon: No

Yautja: The Unknown Devastator
Appearance: If you are lucky enough to catch a glimpse of this beast you may be misled, thinking it is a humanoid spirit.
Location: No specific location, found galaxy wide - if you're lucky (or unlucky) enough.
Hostility: Highly aggressive when it's territory is breeched, but prefers isolation over aggression. Should you see this beast, however, pray you can run fast enough to escape.
Size: Approximately the size of an average Human male.
Sentience: Semi-Sentient.
Canon: No

Windigo: The Master Assassins
Appearance: A humanoid in appearance creature, however its long distorted limbs and head made of bone leaves chills down the spine of those who see it. Looking like an ancient spirit coming back for its vengeance, be warned if your eyes land on its form.
Location: No specific location, found in small isolated group that work and hunt as a tribe.
Hostility: Aggressive stealth fighters, they will see you long before you see them, their naturally stealthy and slow movements making them the perfect ambush predator.
Size: Approximately double the height of a normal human male.
Sentience: Semi-Sentient
Canon: No

Nyaar: The Feline Shocker
Appearance: This powerful feline boasts ripped muscles across all of its body, showing its power with out a doubt. Electricity crackles around its body in a melodic hum, the static being able to be felt by anyone close enough.
Location: Kajuuti Wilds
Hostility: Aggressive solitary hunters that use overwhelming force, and the power of their electrical charge, to quickly destroy whatever it considers prey.
Size: Approximately the size of a Jaguar.
Sentience: Non-Sentient
Canon: No

Hill Goliath: The Sleeping Giant
Appearance: While in their hibernation state they appear to be large areas of foliage, sometimes even growing trees and foliage on their backs. Due to their normally dormant state it is unknown how many of these creatures exist.
Location: Kajuuti Wilds
Hostility: Normally passive, even allowing sentients to build on its back without issue. However, if they are threatened they fight back with the fury of a raging beast.
Size: Can grow up to 45 meters tall with a stout build, making them walking mountains.
Sentience: Pre-Sentient. Observations of known creatures shows the beginning stages of community, and signs of empathy.
Canon: No

Bud Spider: The Sweet Killer
Appearance: These stunningly vibrant spiders have legs that appear crystalline, colorful flowers blossom at their joints. Females average to be about twice the size of males, the vibrancy of the female spiders causing the males to pale in comparison.
Location: Kajuuti Wilds
Hostility: Threat dependent. These spiders, under normal circumstances, normally do not
Size: Females can get as large as a Humvee, while males can reach the size of a normal sedan.
Sentience: Non-Sentient
Canon: No

Thunderbird: The Terror of the Skies
Appearance: Purple force resistant feathers adorn this majestic creature as it rises from the storm like a vengeful Phoenix. Glowing violet eyes shine like beacons in the storm clouds.
Location: Unknown Origin
Hostility: Heavily hostile.
Size: Females can get as large as a Humvee, while males can reach the size of a normal sedan.
Sentience: Non-Sentient
Canon: No

Messa Rhino: The Charging Rampage
Appearance: While sleeping, this grand beast could easily be mistaken for a rock outcropping. Its entire hide is made of slate rock, the protruding spikes dense enough to pierce beskar with enough force behind it.
Location: Tatooine
Hostility: Shows patterns of territorial aggression. Normally seen in groups of 1-3, most of which are family units.
Size: Males can grow to be almost 6 meters tall and 5 meters long. Females can reach sizes of 4 meters tall and 3 meters long.
Sentience: Non-Sentient
